At Age 37, Lemieux may become the oldest player ever to lead the NHL in scoring. The oldest player ever, up to this point to win a scoring title, was Gordie Howe, at age 35. Gretzky was the second oldest at 33. I think it would be great for the game if Lemieux is able to prove that a 37 year old offensive minded player is better than any other player out there. It will show that hockey can be treated as an intellectual game, an art form actually. It's nice to see someone from the old school on fire, and kicking everyone's arse in the process! (And yes, I'm sure Wayne would be proud.;))

I sure hope so....

He was ranked 206th in your draft???? eh????

Oh...I see...I suppose people thought he'd be out with injury again this year? It makes sense in that context then....

Dick!!!

Nope, not without Dick T?rnstr?m. Who would have thought that by the start of the season. Lemieux had never heard of the guy when they offloaded him from NYI.
