3. I really appreciated the public service announcement concerning the genre of their music in the middle of the video. Thanks, BBD!

I loved the Sigur Ros one...

Not sure about the other one, haha. Put on the boxing gloves.

This video (like all Sigur Ros videos) has beautiful visuals, tells a great story, and ends up being kinda touching. Goes fantastically with the music. Sigur Ros seriously have the absolute best music videos.
absolutely, mofo.

i can't believe i forgot to add this one:

sigur rós – glósóli

i was totally obsessed with this video a while back.

Another great one. I love the big climax of the song/run up the hill part. I considered adding more than one Sigur vid, but just went with my present fav. When I bought Takk they gave me a DVD of the Glosoli vid for free. Sweet deal.

FYI, the Untitled 1 EP comes with a great DVD of all of their Agaetis Byrjun & () videos. Easily worth it just for the DVD by itself, let alone the b-sides on the CD.

I'm too lazy to search for links, but one of my all-time favorite videos is Talking Heads' "Burning Down The House"

I'm posting this not because it's particularly my favorite video or even my favorite Idlewild video, but because of the wall of lights. I was so annoyed by all the "Coldplay are ripping off U2 in their music video!!!1!!!" crap last year and always wanted to show people this video. Holy crap, they both ripped Idlewild off!

Idlewild - 'American English'

I don't have any YouTube links to post for the moment, but I do have to say that those DVDs of The Directors Series are excellent! Great videos by great directors. At the moment I have Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Stephane Sednaoui and Anton Corbijn.
