For whatever reason I can't get a PDF file to open on my laptop to save my life and I need to have it open TODAY so I can do my homework. Is there a way to convert it so I can open it in another program??

Oh I think I figured it out. For whatever reason having Netscape seems to really screw up using Adobe Reader. I uninstalled Netscape explorer and it seems to be ok. Are there any Netscape users out there that have problems like this and know if there's a fix??
If you happen to have access to Photoshop in the future, PDF files can be opened in there as well.
My suggestion would also be to dump Netscape and to install Mozilla Firefox. The newest versions of Netscape merely copy Firefox anyway.
