List your first concert, your favorite concert, worst concert, and last concert you went to. And let's leave U2 out of this, I think most people here would probably list them as their favorite. But I guess it's ok to list them if they were your first or last concert... OKGO!

First concert: New Kids on the Block (don't ask)

Favorite concert: Muse absolution tour, front row center.

Worst concert: Allman Brothers, snoooozefest, left early.

Last concert: The M+M's

First concert: U2, Lisbon, August 2005
Favourite concert: Pearl Jam, September 2006
Worst concert: Guns n' Roses, May 2006
Last concert: Linda Martini (portuguese band)

First Concert: R.E.M. - Around The Sun Tour

Favorite Concert: Arcade Fire - Last Weekend

Worst Concert: RHCP - Stadium Suckassium Tour

Last Concert: Blonde Redhead - Yesterday

First concert: Rage Against The Machine (93 or 94 I think?)

Favorite concert: Tie - Pop Will Eat Itself (Dos Dedos Mis Amigos Tour) and U2 (Elevation Tour - In the heart  )

Worst concert: HIM - went with my wife, she was in heaven, I was bored...

Last concert: Air

God, I've been to so many concerts, I'd have to sit and really think to remember them all. So, let's see:

First Concert: 1984. The Thompson Twins @ The Hollywood Bowl. (I was 10 years old. I had cool parents.)

Favorite Concert: Sooooooo many, but if I have to pick one, I'll go with Underworld on the Beacuoup Fish tour. When I left that show I looked as if I had literally jumped into a swimming pool and climbed back out.

Worst Concert: I've never really had a bad concert, but the worst band I've ever seen was the opener for INXS, back in the early 90s, called Dread Zeppelin. They were without a doubt the single most painful band I've had to endure at a concert. (Thank God INXS made up for it by kicking some serious ass!)

Last Concert: Bloc Party at The Wiltern in March. Amazing, AMAZING show!!!!! And I'm going to see them again in June! :hyper:

first concert: Def Leppard -Adrenalize tour '91

favorite concert- here are my top 3, too many to choose from: first Toad the Wet Sprocket show in 2003, U2 Elevation (in the heart twice), Tom Petty on my birthday AND in a small club, 2002

worst concert: Shania Twain at Grant Park, 2003 maybe? it was free and I went to make someone else happy.

last concert: this past Friday night. saw Jet at the House of Blues.

First concert: U2 - Day on the green 11-14-87.

Favorite concert: U2 Vertigo - San Jose 4-9-05, but since you said no U2 I'll say R.E.M. GREEN tour 1987 I believe, had 3rd row seats.

Worst concert: Y&T  I got dragged there by my ex.

Last concert: U2 Vertigo - Oakland 11-9-05.

First Concert : Duran Duran 1984 - Seven and The Ragged Tiger Tour

Favorite: I've been to about 80 concerts I couldn't even begin to choose, although Prince was awesome on his last tour and The Duran Duran reunion tour  and Elton John / Billy Joel Face to Face

Worst: Kings of Leon opening for U2

Last concert: Elton John

Lists suck, Chaz. :grumpy: But I'll play.

First concert: Shaggy, 2001 (don't ask, my friends dragged me along)

Favorite concert: Roger Waters, 2006. Fucking amazing.

Worst concert: Shaggy. I've tried to repress that memory, but the sight of Shaggy with a microphone down his trousers has never quite disappeared from my mind's eye.

Last concert: Roger Hodgson, 2006. Fantastic show.

Me too! I've been to about 70 (counting festivals as 1 show).

And that Duran Duran reunon tour was just  :combust: !! I saw it at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas and The Joint only holds about 1100-1200 people. It was just so awesome! I was jumping sky high during "Wild Boys", and strangely enough, "White Lines" just absolutely f*****g ROCKED!!!!

Concerts

First Concert: August 1983 - Day on the Green. Thompson Twins, Oingo Boingo, Madness, The Fixx, The Police.

Favorite Concert(s): Pink Floyd Dec 1987(arena show), U2 April 2001, Muse April 2007

Worst Concert(s): Depeche Mode Dec 1987. I saw them 3 days after Pink Floyd. Seeing 3 guys finger keyboards while Gahan danced and grabbed his crotch the whole night was laughable after seeing Pink Floyd. Not to mention they had feedback problems and Martin Gore sang all his songs way off key. I almost couldn't watch. Honorable mention: Grateful Dead 1989. Borrrring!

Last Concert: The Shins. A nice simple, safe, G-rated show.

(not including U2)

1st: Frank Zappa - Palladium, NYC 1976
Favorite: Any Grateful Dead show in NY between 1975-1983
Worse: Meatloaf, St John's University, NY - 1978
Last: Snow Patrol, Dallas, TX 2007

First concert: Oasis/Neil Young, Barrie, '96

Favorite concert: If U2 doesn't count, does Arcade Fire opening for U2 count? Otherwise it would be The Doves, '05, Toronto.

Worst concert: Backstreet Boys.. another one of those 'don't ask' situations :der:

Last concert: U2/Pearl Jam, '06, Hawaii

First concert: New Kids on the Block - 1989.

Best concert: U2 - April 2001

Worst concert: Tegan & Sara - 2004. I normally love them, but they were really bad that night, plus the people I went with were all fighting. Stupid girls.

Last concert: John Mayer - last week

First concert: Coldplay - January 2003 on the AROBTTH Tour. Nokia Theatre in Dallas

Best concert: Sigur Ros - February 2006 on the Takk tour. Bass Hall in Ft Worth. I was third row orchestra and paid 250 dollars for the ticket on eBay. It was worth every penny.

Worst concert: The Darkness in Dallas, April 2005. The tickets were free, so don't give me too much shit.

Last concert: Okkervil River on April 21. It was a one off show since they are recording their new album right now (perk of living in their home town). They played a theatre here on the UT campus that only seats 1,200 and they had a full string and horns section. It was beautiful.

First concert: Michael Jackson (Bad tour - Melbourne)

Favorite concert: Robbie Williams (Melbourne 2001)

Worst concert: Simply Red (Brisbane 1992)

Last concert: Scissor Sisters (Tokyo 2007)

Best concert experience - my best mate Charlotte and I trundled along to see Christina Aguilera when she brought her 'Stripped' tour down under. Surrounded by a screaming crowd of 10-14 year old girls wearing immensely innapropriate 'slutty nightclub' gear, Charlotte decided the only acceptible response to so much underage skank was to lob dim sims at them.

Fashion hurts (and stains) kids.

Remember - wait till your legal to get dirrty!

First concert: Gorky Park (a Russian band) - somewhere around 1994.

Best concert: Muse - January 2007 at Festival Hall. Came a fan, left an obsessive, :) U2 - November 2007, second Melbourne show. A magical night.

Worst concert: Liars opening for Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Last concert: Best of V Festival - New York Dolls, Phoenix, Jarvis and Pixies - April 2007

First concert - Rush, 1981.
Best - Roger Waters, 2006.
Worst - Depeche Mode.
Last - Arcade Fire, last week.

I was at that show too!

It was absolutely the most fun I've ever had at a show.

First concert: Backstreet Boys, 1999. Great show, seriously
Favorite concert: Muse, 2004. Front row center in a tiny club just 3 feet away from the stage and among the most energetic crowd ever
Worst concert: Buckcherry, 2006. One of many crap acts for a lame radio festival - I was only there for Muse :grumpy:
Last concert: Andrew Bird & Apostle of Hustle, 4/28/07. Oh man, what a fantastic show
