last night i went to see flogging molly/street dogs/the briggs in boston (at the avalon).

it was a fucking awesome show. the briggs were great, i wish i knew the words a little bit better, though. street dogs covered the clash's 'career opportunities'. flogging molly kicked ass.

i blabbered on extensivly in my journal about it.

I have tickets for:

Keane x 3 at Brixton London in November
Morissey at Earls Court in Decmebr
Starsailor at Hammermisth Appollo in Decmeber
REM in June

and hope to see U2!!! and maybe Marilyn Manson

oh, i'm going to see REM on oct. 29th (fleet center, boston, MA)

Hooverphonic Nov 13 and Arno Dec. 15 Groningen. New Model army Dec 19 Den Haag

Going to see..

REM, Bruce Springsteen and Bright Eyes in St. Paul on the Vote for Change tour
Ben Harper, My Morning Jacket, and Dave Matthews Band in Iowa, also on the VoC tour
Rufus Wainwright in Iowa

This is going to be a crazy week

Hoping to see Interpol and Secret Machines around Halloween.

Also, my sister and I are trying to go see Jay-Z and R. Kelly on my birthday. It's the last show of their tour, so I guess it will be Jay-Z's last show before retirement. Would definitely be cool to see.

I am seeing Bruce, PJ and REM next week.

I would like to go to see The Killers tonight, but I do not that think that is happening because of school work.

I would like to see Social Distortion in October, Interpol in November and The Pixies in December

so far that is it. I saw Wilco last week.

My best friend (formerly known as The Housemate til he moved back east ) called me TEN TIMES during that show so I could hear. I got weepy during Muzzle of Bees.

I'm seeing Wilco in Denver on Nov. 6. :hyper:

;)

seriously, school is causing a problem with my music habit.....

I am already worrying about how the classes I want to take this summer are going to get in the way of seeing U2.

i've decided i'm not going to bother getting tickets to see the pixies. they're not sold out, i just don't care enough to spend the 35 bucks.

i'll possibly be going to see kicked in the head and a slew of shitty punk bands in a week or so. i can't remember when the show is. there's a umass hockey game that night, so i'll probably go see that instead, since it's free and that show is not.
