The French do 'sad' like nobody else on earth.

The Germans on the other hand have a bone-dry sense of humour. Ever see "The Mediocrities"?

Me -Alone, OMG that is such a scary thought it makes me nervous - I would probably light a bunch of candles, turn off all the lights, crank Achtung Baby, run around in my underwear, singing at the top of my lungs, while smoking a carton and drinking the last of the Jose Cuervo Especial -and for once in the past 11 years, take a HOT bath without one of my innocent little faced angels sitting on the edge of the tub explaining how "Barbie's voice would really sound, or how to build an 11 foot building out of Legos, but since that will never happen -I can dream . . . . .

I tend to walk around whichever city I find myself in...I just walk the 10-50 mins. to downtown, put on some great music on my discman and just take it all in while I walk around...then I'll stop at a coffee shop and read the papers....but these aren't things I can usually afford because I'm so used to studying all the time!!! arghhh!!!
