They've gotta get the touchdown and go for the 2-pt conversion instead of just a field goal now.

Fantastic.

Yep, I'm getting less excited about seeing them play Boston College in Boston as the days go on.

So, its 2007. Don't you think that its time for TV commentators (yes Mr. Musberger I'm looking at you) to realize when they say "He gave so and so a BLOW - most of us aren't thinking "rest".

FFS.

He had some good "you just did not say that" moments when he used to talk about Reggie Bush.

Musberger on one channel, Buck and McCarver on the other - which inept commentator do I choose?

Michigan is getting carved up by a mobile QB. Shocking.

Not really. Illinois really only drove the ball once for a touchdown. The first one was because they started at the Michigan 30 after the kick off return. So the defense held them to 10 points. I didnt think either of their mobile QB's did a whole lot really.

Michigan had so many starters out at points (Henne and Manningham) tonight including Hart for the whole game. Still pulled it out. I thought it was an impressive win on the road against a decent team.

I posted that as Illinois was in the process of going up 14-3 early in the 2nd quarter. It is nice to see that the defense buckled down after that.

OMG #8???? wow. that's higher than our rank before the season began. BC is on thurs. i'm skurd...but then again, it seems as though lately the #2 ranked teams have been getting knocked out.

oh and i'll probably never admit this in public, but i think uva should be higher. our defense and special teams only started showing up a few weeks ago. their team has been pretty solid. though i predict that the acc championship game could be vt vs. uva. this state will go crazy.
