how the mighty have fallen

I was just about to type that.

This is already a wacky year in CFB. A lot of little teams beating or at least giving major trouble to bigger schools.

How the fuck did Iowa lost to Iowa St. Damn them and damn Minnesota too. And Northwestern.

I haven't seen a win at Doak Campbell in the 4 games I've seen.

My dad didn't see a loss there for about 20 years.

did Bowden all of sudden forget how to coach or was it his assistants that really did the coaching? It seems like they still get pretty good recruiting classes, but can't put things back together.

It was his assistants being terrible, mainly his dunce of a son Jeff, the former offensive coordinator.

Their recruiting classes are solid, but can't match Florida's anymore.

Regardless of who's on top, I'll do this each weekend...

I'm trying to think of this year as a rebuilding year. We have quite a few new coaches and young players (at least in the offensive line). Maybe that's why we stink the first half and do okay the second half . I thought FSU being ranked at all during the pre-season was highly generous.

But yeah, it does make me long for the days of Thad Busby .

It's nice to see South Florida in the rankings though .

I'm glad they're finally in the rebuilding process. They really shouldn't have been ranked the first week, but oh well. They'll be back on the board at some point... hopefully.

By the time you enter you freshman year . . .

You know, you're probably right.

But for right now, I'll continue putting off homework during my Junior year.

I have to add too that the USC Song Girls are by far the hottest cheerleaders I've ever seen.

I wish they all could be California girls... :combust:
They look like the Stepford Cheerleaders.

You act like that's an inherently bad thing...

ETA: I do have to thank you for bringing that photo to another page

EATA: Am I nuts, or does the one in the middle in front look like Carrie Underwood...? :hmm:

Amen.

I'm planning on Penn State for the business school.

There are two refereeing blunders I can't let go of my anger over. One was the Villanova-UNC traveling call, and the other was the Penn State-Michigan 2005 game, with the last drive for Michigan.

Announcing a game earlier last year, Penn State's radio commentator said, "Well, there's enough time left for two plays here at the end of the game. Or four if you're Michigan."

Somewhere, Regis is weeping.

South Carolina's quarterback is named Chris Smelley. "Smelley has the ball on the 5 . . . Smelley misses the throw. . . Smelley under pressure . . . Smelley dips under the defender."

And their kicker's name is Succop - pronounced "suck-up".

Yes, I'm 12 :shifty:

BC has been playing lights out.

I get to see them crush FSU in Boston this year. Exciting.

That's worth a 100 Grand.

Well, I'm facing five goliaths in my way: al-Qaeda, global warming, sex predators, mercury poisoning ... so am I just gonna give up? No.
