I look forward to USC knocking the hell outta Arizona State and then redeeming themselves by crushing UCLA and earning a Rose Bowl berth....

and showing DaveC another counter-example!

#1 isnt much better. Just ask the Buckeyes. :)

Who will hand it to my team tomorrow most likely. But its looking like Michigan will have a new coach next year from all the strong rumors around here. Looks like Michigan's coach Lloyd Carr is definately retiring.

Last night, right after half, the cameras caught Ryan Leaf asking Dennis Dixon and his father, "Is it torn?"...Dennis didn't respond but the father nodded his head...

Oregon QB Dixon to have knee surgery (AP)
Dennis Dixon will have surgery on the left knee that buckled early in second-ranked Oregon's upset loss to Arizona, spoiling his chance to win the Heisman Trophy. The quarterback tore his anterior cruciate ligament during Oregon's Nov. 3 victory over Arizona State, according to coach Mike Bellotti, but he had rested it and felt as if he was ready to play Thursday night against the Wildcats.

Sorry, Ducks!

What astounds me is that with a torn ACL, you shouldn't even be able to walk, let alone play football. And that's not an injury that you can "rest".

His coach ought to be strung up for letting him play and letting the injury be aggravated to this point. I feel bad for the guy missing his chance for the Heisman.

Jim Tressel just took a knee at the end of the OSU-Michigan game inside the Michigan 10-yard line with the score 14-3. Apparently scoring extra points with the pollsters isn't important to him.

Go Texas Tech

And I'm also hoping Cincy makes a comeback.

Yes, I'm rooting for teams to lose so the Sun Devils can move up, so sue me.

Who in the world started the tradition of having uniformed troopers, state police, the highway patrol, marshals, constables, justice of the freakin' peace escorting these coaches off the field??? why are they there????

I thought I noticed a conquistador guarding a coach at one of today's games. That's overkill.
