College Football 2007

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing the NCAA, talking heads etc. attempt to continue to defend the BCS after this weekend.

So you gotta figure if Kansas and Okla win out ( a long shot in 2007  ), then the winner of their tilt in the Big 12 title game has to be in the BCS game, beating the other (plus KU knocking off Mizzou) has to be enough to vault Oregon and/or LSU, on the assumpton they win out.

What would it take for Hawai'i to get there??? Everyone above them would have to lose twice probably (possible this season).

Fighting Zooks!!

It's nice to see some winning since I was at Illinois during the dark days of Ron Turner's first season. :shudder:

AND one of my former students is a starting O-lineman this year. :D

Illinois's defense played one hell of a game.

I just mean with the last drive. That timeout bailed Illinois out of the stupid decision to punt: my father and I immediately said that the timeout would result in them going for it, we've seen it too many times before.

And then they decided not to put a QB Spy on Juice. The linebackers kept blitzing or going into coverage, and Juice had wide open spaces in the middle of the field.

But yes, Illinois played a hell of a game on D.

I love it!

It is so wild to see the Illini in the polls.

They just needed a coach that could recruit in-state (or "chicagoland area" to be a little more specific). Give Notre Dame a run for their money in recruiting!

Yeah, I know they didn't really play too well. I thought they'd at least bump up to 7th or 8th with OSU's loss.

Oh well, the Sun Devils just need to hammer USC next week and really bump up

Yeah, but do you think any major-conference power is going to schedule Hawaii (or Boise State), ever?

I could see a Pac-10 team maybe. But it would almost certainly be an away game for Hawaii.

SC opened at Hawaii during Matt Leinart's last year...

Its 7:15 eastern, guessing the BCS Pollsters are wining and dining...
