Bold comparison alert.
I keep listening to "Lovers in Japan" eight times now and it's very much a U2 song. Adam's baseline, Bono's phrasing and joy, Edge’s reflection is in the piano and the drums remind me of some U2 song, but I can’t place it. Plus, it has the feeling of being on a journey — the forward movement that U2 often has. I get annoyed by the U2 comparisons sometimes, but it’s there in this song . . . and it’s a great song.
Maybe that’s why I’ve listened to it most according to my iTunes count. : )

Yeah, I think the rough mix that is already out there is more or less the correct track. We just need a better quality version of it.

Yeah, from what I've heard, LIT is indeed 2:31 and the hoax version is LIT combined with the coda of Death And All His Friends.
