Just listened to the song. It's pretty good, not a major re-invention I was hoping for but it's no Clocks Part III either.

Just heard it and need to listen to it somemore.
As coldplay goes it's a good song.
Hope it does well for them and the new album is really good.
I don't have any interest in seeing them fail.

it's not as groundbreaking as THE FLY was to the rest of the U2 catalogue, but it's a start...

the only complaint is the "Coldplay-esque finish"... there's like 4 songs that end the same... with the piano

I don't hear much of X&Y in it? It's certainly slightly different from their first three albums (well, the first 3 minutes of the song). Need to hear it more times to be able to give a good opinion on it.
