Cold War Kids - New Band, Getting lots of U2 comparisons...

Thought some of you might be interested. I've been seeing this band come up around the internet alot, often compared to Rattle and Hum-era U2 and/or The White Stripes. Here's a site where you can get a free/legal mp3 and link to their myspace:

heard them on WOXY. First impression was good. Not sure about the U2 comparison; will have to hear it more.

Very unique style. I'm not hearing any similiarities to U2.

Eh, they are ok, I got the 2 EPs in the mail last week, just ok. Dont see any U2 similarities, but I usually dont. I have heard they are great live.....

The best comparison would probably be to Hawkmoon 269 or desire. Other than that theres not much, but people are still making the connection somehow.

Hospital Beds is my favorite from them so far.
