just put your ear down!

Aclujstic Sasts is fuckinf awesome duds

Disagree, especially with regards to the snoozefest acoustic version on the Elevation Tour.

The only version of SATS I genuinely like a lot is the live electric version, when the band managed to hold it together.

The fact that you were able to read and reply to that in such as serious and straightforward brings tears of joy to my eyes.

"One Step Closer" Ax? Even with the Frogger lyrics?

Frogger?

And yes, it's the only song that actually achieves any kind of atmosphere, and its lyrics aren't as stupid as some of the others on the album. COBL would be #1 if it weren't so dismally produced that I can't even listen to it any more.

War: The Refugee // 40
TUF: EPAA // ISS
TJT: Red Hill MIning Town // In God's Country
R&H: Heartland // Hawkmoon 269
AB: WGRYWH // UTEOTW
Zooropa: Zooropa // Babyface (yeah, you heard me. )
Pop: Do You Feel Loved? // Miami
ATYCLB: WILATW // Kite
Bomb: Crumbs From Your Table // Crumbs From Your Table
Viva La Vida: Chinese Sleep Chant // Lovers In Japan

Five of the best songs from U2's albums were never played live. :madwife:

The funny part is that after five glasses of wine, I probably would have written the exact same thing.

Ok, ATYCLB suffers from Two huge problems. The sequencing is terrible, why are all the singles first? It's asking for a casual fan to purchase it and forget about it a week later. Second, shit lyrics can not be saved by the ever present amazing guitar from Edge on this album...

Still, I love this album for getting me into all of the rest of their catalog. I'll attempt LMP's tracklisting sometime, and perhaps that could go a long way to making this a better overall album..

On To The Bomb :uhoh:

Screwtape, I know I'm meant to be ignoring you and this may not be the best joke to make under the circumstances, but I just can't help myself ...

Boy: The Ocean [...]
October: With A Shout // With A Shout
War: The Refugee [...]
TUF: EPAA // ISS
[...]
Zooropa: [...] Babyface (yeah, you heard me. )

This is why people think you are insane.

Viva La Vida: Chinese Sleep Chant // Lovers In Japan

:hmm:

As usual, this would probably change if I did it again tomorrow...

Boy: Out Of Control // Electric Co. (lucky I didn't have to pick between that and 11 O'Clock)
October: Tomorrow // Gloria (this may change after I hear some October bootlegs)
War: Drowning Man // SBS
The Unforgettable Fire: Bad x 2
The Joshua Tree: Exit x 2
Rattle and Hum: Heartland // Hawkmoon
Achtung Baby: Acrobat? // Mysterious Ways
Zooropa: Numb // Dirty Day
Pop: WUDM // Please
All That You Can't Leave Behind: TGBHF (it's on my copy! or WILATW, if you're going to be pedantic) // Elevation (it's FUN)
How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb: LAPOE x 2

I admittedly haven't heard a great deal of October, War, UF, ATYCLB or Bomb live...

Wow, that's quite a gap.
