So I remember seeing on E! or something about this children's book that Clive Barker was writing and illustrating. This was a couple months ago. Then yesterday I was in a bookstore and I saw it there for 50% off so I snagged it. It's called Abarat and it looks like it's the first in a series. I'm a little nervous about it seeing his movies are the stuff nightmares are made of and then some. But I mean come on, it's a kids book, right?
Does anyone else know about this book? Has anyone read it? I know he has another children's book out called The Thief of Always. Anyone know anything about that one?
Oh, and by the way the artwork in the book is very cool!
