I lived on Atari. I still have it and I think it still works. My brother and I must have spent hours on end playing games. My favorites were Pitfall, Pele's Soccer, Super Breakout, and Empire Strikes Back game. I know there were a ton of others I played too but I would have to dig out the games to look and see.....

I should hook it up and see if it works.

lack of digital camera forced me to find pictures on ebay

This game required paddles.

I can't believe how much some of this stuff is selling for on ebay with all of the game controllers and games included on one auction. yikes.


I should try to sell mine.

We had two Atari sets when I was younger. My sister has them both now at her place, but I think only one of them works.

I much preferred Pitfall II to the original.

Worst atari game = E.T.

I still love video games. I've been pretty much attached at the hip to our Gamecube with SSX Tricky, Gauntlet, and especially Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.

hahaha i had the e.t game! i couldn't figure out how to play it

i had another game that the label was worn off of and i haven't a clue what it was called.... it was cool, like space invaders meets pong... you tried to keep your blocks from getting hit and going away by deflecting them...you were in a corner of the screen and there were others in the other three corners of the screen trying to hit you...once all the outside blocks got chipped away it would hit your inside blocks and you'd die.

i have this rool old hame thing on my hamegube. it has hagela which is m gavoue. if i play it, i od of hours@@

Than later with my first Homecomputer (C= 64) we wasted so many hours playing Elite, Paradroid and Simulations like mule, kaiser aaah i guess i have to buy a Commodore 64 at e-bay

Those were the times, almost no graphics but game concepts that ruled

Trust me. E.T. was more fun when you didn't know how to play it!
