Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.
Lets compile a list of songs that we think will be classics 10-20 years from now.

Not just good/great songs, but classics that still hold their relevance and beauty. U2's One is a good example of a classic song from the 90's. "Vertigo" is a good example of a good/great song but not a classic song.

So what songs do you think we will look back on in 20 years and say that is what music was about?

Well, hiphop is the predominantly dare I say popular music out there right now on radio and in stores, so to that end, I'd say Usher's "Yeah" and Jay-Z's "99 Problems." (The Jay-Z song is phenomenal to me anyway).

As for rock, I'd say Modest Mouse's "Float On" and Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" were pretty spectacular and will be played on the radio and remembered 20 years from now. Oh, and then the hard rock stations will probably play a Velvet Revolver song, I dunno.

Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand)
Float On (Modest Mouse)

and I like both songs

and all that hip hop stuff
