It is an amazing performance. If he doesn't get an Oscar nomination, well I think that's just robbery. It's due to his performance that the movie works as well as it does, especially since we know the outcome (it's about the FBI agent Robert Hanssen who was spying for the Russians). Of course it works against him that the movie came out so early in the year.

I can't believe he has never been nominated for an Oscar-as far as I could tell from his bio on imdb he hasn't been. His performance in American Beauty was another good one.

i think he won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Adaptation."

there may be 5 better before the year is over


i did see the movie

and he does a terrific job


he is always good to me

the first time he really made an impression on me was in

Lonestar


I think that it is about as good as a movie gets
