Children's choir covers U2, Verve

I hadn't checked Beth Maynard's U2 sermons blog in some time, but I thought I would for Easter week, and I'm glad I did.

She links to this amazing children's choir that covers great rock songs and renders them magically.

Don't listen to the version of With or Without You if you don't like songs that provoke wet eyes and goose pimples.

This choir is Belgian (you may have noticed on the Kolacny-site) and they are amazing.
It are only girls from 16-18 years old.

It's funny how they do Teenage Dirtbag (Wheatus) or She hates me (Puddle Of Mudd)

They have done a few covers with Jasper Steverlinck, another Belgian (rock)artist, like Let her down easy (Terence Trent d'Arby).
Jasper also covered Life on mars, spine-tangling, I can tell you, I think he's one of our best voices at the moment and we have some great bands these days.

when my pc is back I can load some songs.

I loaded their version of Creep (Radiohead) and TTD's version of Let her down easy. The singer is Jasper Steverlinck (frontman of a Belgian band called Arid)


I don't think you hear much of the choir here but the piano is played by the Kolacny brothers (see above), they are classically trained professional piano players.

I'm upping his version of Life on mars right now (also great piano part)
I'm also loading Under the bridge from the peppers. They also deed Teen spirit, if anyone cares.
