It's not out in Australia yet but I've seen the trailer today and I'm interested. Even though "Goldeneye" was pretty much the only Bond film I've really enjoyed.

And on a totally girly note, Daniel Craig looks really good too, Even though he's not tall enough and blond men usually do nothing for me.

This is great, "Apologies to 007" from CNN (video):
http://www.cnn.com/video/player/play...rry.james.affl

I think it sums things up nicely.

I read this on people.com

My editorial comment-don't wear those unless you have a body that is as good as Daniel's

For male James Bond fans, Daniel Craig's homage to Ursula Andress's infamous bikini scene may have been a little disappointing (especially in comparison to Halle Berry's take), but not so for his female fans! In fact, ladies have been quick to snap up Craig's snug swim trunks for the Bonds in their lives. Part of the Grigio Perla men's range of celeb-favorite Italian brand La Perla, the trunks have proved to be so popular that UK department store Selfridges' quickly sold out the coveted item shortly after Casino Royale's release. Reportedly, Craig picked out the trunks for the film himself -- get your own pair for $87 by calling 1-866-LAPERLA (six-pack abs not included).

Just in case anyone has forgotten what they look like..

Yeah same, only Craig can pull those off with his "Perfectly formed ass" ("you noticed?" )

I just bought this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Bond-Set-Filmi...e=UTF8&s=books

It's pretty much 100 pages of Daniel Craig on the set of Casino Royale...the girls that I live with are starting to go nuts over him thanks to me

I checked out that People magazine article on Mads...it was really good but not worth buying the whole magazine (with Tomkat on the cover ) for that one page.

Poor Daniel Craig when Mads accidentally hit him too hard in the torture scene

so is it safe to assume that you're perhaps a mild fan of the film and it's cast?

(only a mild fan, though).

That was great....my dad and I were one of the few people who waited until the film actually came out to see how Craig did as Bond (We never did bash him as Bond basically ).

I'm a over the whole Bond franchise, I've seen every movie at least once, and this latest film has just heightened my love for it all

Daniel's getting some Oscar buzz, which I think he deserves

This column epitomizes my thoughts:
http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune....scar_bond.html
Quote:
Bond, Oscar Bond
There’s one performance that hasn't been recognized by any movie critics group or awards organization despite being one of the year’s most widely praised.

Where’s the year-end love for Daniel Craig, a.k.a. agent 007 in “Casino Royale”?

Here’s a guy who was widely dismissed and even ridiculed upon being cast in this iconic role, yet the consensus is he’s the best James Bond since Sean Connery and perhaps the closest one to author Ian Fleming’s original vision.

Craig’s performance is emotional, physical and charismatic as hell; you can't ask much more of an actor. His burning presence has helped the movie earn 95 percent positive reviews (according to RottenTomatoes.com) while grossing more than $400 million worldwide and reviving a stale series.

Who could you imagine doing better? Oscar winners Sean Penn or Russell Crowe? Right.

Just because Craig isn’t in a self-serious film doesn’t mean he hasn’t done a slam-bang acting job. Give the guy some kudos.
The comments left regarding the column were all in agreement as well

....haha, love the url properties desciption: assets/images... yeah,no kidding.

what was i going to say? the movie was much more physical and violent than others. more hollywood. bond is not usually so bloody in his fights. there was a distinct lack of Q, and i though M was too emotional and involved. him also falling in love was out of the norm. those were my two biggest beefs.

"god, i miss the cold war!"

minus the two issues, i did enjoy it a lot, though. overall, it was less connected to other bonds; more of a unique bond movie. i shall buy it and add it to the collection.
