i saw the Scorsese remake after a long time last night and was once again awestruck.
I mean both the films were sensational.

so start appreciating

Yeah, people really underrated this film. The original had the squeaky clean Gregory Peck character, whereas the remake gives a much more flawed hero in Nick Nolte, who has cheated on his wife and betrayed the attorney-client privilege. Scorsese explores Catholic guilt again in a very interesting way. Robert DeNiro is OUT OF CONTROL. The scene between him and Juliette Lewis in the school auditorium is one of the all-time greats.

Damn... And I thought this thread was going to be about how great it is to live here in the Cape Fear area of NC(Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach/Carolina Beach). :sad:

So anyway, yeah - the CF remake with Nolte & DeNiro was great. :up:
