Strong song. It sounds real free spirited to me. Drums are used very well in terms of their patterns and textures. Heavy English accent takes some getting used to, but it's cool. Some sharp pop songwriting chops show here. Only thing I'm not sure about is the harmonica part at the end. It's a little jarring. Do these guys have better songs elsewhere I should be checking out?

Yeah, It's a decent tune. They've got an album out which you should be able to get off Amazon. They've imploded as a group due to Pete Doherty's drug addiction(s) and he's since formed a new group: Babyshambles. I haven't heard much of their stuff though.

i HATE the Libertines.

most of my mates like them though, which is annoying, and they ridicule me for liking U2 which makes it even worse

I quite like the Libertines music but I cannot stand the press coverage of Pete Doherty, his addictions and his on/off with Kate Moss.

lately I'm very into The Libertines, and Can't Stand Me Now is a great single (strong and catchy)
