FIVE Pin Bowling??? Oh man, we suck... Why don't we just invent those stupid inflatable things to block the gutter as well and get it over with???

I love the ones that sound dirty but aren’t: "Automatic Lubricating Cup" hehehe

And who invented the Black garbage bag then??? :hmm:

I didn't know a lot of these things were invented by Canada. This includes:

the Pacemaker
the paint roller
the music synthesizer
Insulin

Man what an awesome country

No......us Aussies invented the Electronic Pacemaker - the heart pacemaker was developed at Sydney's Crown Street Women's Hospital in 1926.

As much as something the body produces naturally can be an invention. It should read 'synthesized insulin', I guess. *shrug*

We're still doing better than Norway, at any rate.

As for the Wonderbra... you're welcome.

Many of these are probably invented in other countries but by someone who just happens to be Canadien. The smart one left the country:wink: Kidding

I loved how "Five Pin Bowling Night in Canada" replaced HNIC during the strike

:yes::up:

Invented by habs that had trouble counting to ten or could not pick up "real" bowling balls (I guess nine pounds is a bit too heavy).

We pretty much invented everything that is great.

But there have been missteps along the way...Pamela Anderson :(

i take my canannada seriously:laugh:

Now listen here! I can handle the fact that the Kiwi's have flogged our Lamington Recipe and have made the rest of the world believe that they invented the humble slice made from stale cake!!!!!........but i will not stand for Cheeseheads making out that they made the FIRST ARTIFICIAL ELECTRONIC PACEMAKER!!!

the electric wheelchair is a wonderful contribution

and the light bulb? that is definitely one I didn't know about

Wow, really? I don't think I've had Coke in the US, but now I think I have to.
