That's right folks, the Matthew Good Band has Broken up!
Officially announced Friday. I think that sucks, but hopefully we'll hear some stuff from Matt in the future.

I couldn't believe it!!!!

I was in shock and disbelief when they announced that on the radio yesterday afternoon - MGB is one of my favourite bands, let alone my favourite Canadian band....

Oh well, I suspect Matt Goode is 75% of the talent (I could be wrong!) so hopefully he'll do solo stuff....He could just be called "Matthew Goode" instead of the MGB band...

But overall, a very sad day for Canadian music....

i used to like their music alot. but now, that guy appears to be a complete fucker. you think everyone in the music bus. hates him just for something to do? the guy is a bastard to everyone, and he thinks he and his band are the greatest thing ever.

well, id have to disagree with that. he completely rips off radiohead and their bends era, imo. strange days is the closest thing to fake plastic trees ever. oh well, his personal idiocity aside, their music was decent i suppose.
