Well, that's the best part. I screwed them over because I had all the cheap properties between Go and Jail, and all the railways. Most of the rest were a mishmash, including me deliberately buying Lambton Quay after Alan bought Queen Street (the two best on the Kiwi Monopoly board) and point-blank refusing to sell it so that he couldn't develop it and I didn't have to fork out anything.

Plus, I was far more ruthless in developing my complete sets. My mother owned the whole red set but only put two houses on each over the course of the game. Within three turns of acquiring the whole cheap side, I had hotels on all of them. That's where the money is really, because it's so easy to develop that part.
Yeah, the first two colours are always the most desirable (though in a lonh game they don't always cut it). Congrats.

It's close to 10, and I start early again tomorrow, so I'm out. Have a good night, all.

I'd say what my general strategy is, but too many Melburnians who I may someday play Monopoly against are on this thread and I play to win.

Have a good night!

Just like how all CDs are released on a Monday, all movies are released on a Thursday. At least, that's standard Aussie practice. Why? Not a bloody clue.

I feel almost out of place in this thread!

I mean, I think the U2 3D thing's cool and I'm really looking forward to going, but I'm just not experiencing the excitement you lot are. Though if it were Lovetown 3D, yes, I'd be bouncing off the walls ...

I'm trying not to expect too much, Ax
... Jen's enthusiasm is infectious, though
