Yeah, I heard she's trying to get it anulled.

And the fact we're even discussing this is sad.

Actually, I think that was more Jessica Simpson who pushed that message. But Britney might've said things similar to it, too...I dunno.

Anyway...this is very...odd...if it is a joke, I feel kinda bad for her friend. But then again, like AvsGirl said, they did seem to go to an awful lot of trouble for a joke...but then she was drunk, too...

Gah. I don't know. ...

If the marriage continues on, I wish 'em the best of luck.

Her people are denying reports that her "escort" down the isle was really to keep her from falling over (she was so drunk).

Britney brings so much to the valued institutions of our society

And people say the gays are the ones making a mockery of marriage.

Mr. BAW and I had a conversation about this today...what kind of example is this supposed to be? A man and a woman can get drunk, get married and end it within hours but a truly commited gay couple with every intention of staying together forever can't get married.

Yes...this is a shining example of the sanctity of marriage

Gah...exactly, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I swear to god, if I hear one more homophobe talk about how we must keep the "sanctity of marriage" intact by not allowing homosexuals to marry...I'll need to do everything in my power to refrain from wanting to punch 'em. .

*Blinks*

Um...sorry...I've been debating that issue with someone on another site, hence why I'm in a bit of a peeved mood in regards to this issue right now.

Carry on with the topic at hand.
