Just seen The Hitchhikers' guide to the galaxy! Overall it's really good, but it seems a little strange that you don't see Zaphod with his two heads at the same time! Lovely graphics, tho&Stephen Frys' narration is spot-on!!

Douglas Adams was a genius! God bless 'im!

I'm always looking for things to add to my netflix list, glad I came across this thread...
I recently saw 24 Hr. Party People and it was pretty good. I think they could/should have put more about Ian Curtis in it, though. The movie assumes you know his history and if you're like me and don't know much about the Manchester music scene during the '80s the whole suicide thing is weird. I hear they're making a bio-pic about Curtis. This movie has me interested in seeing it.

I also agree with Hello Angel about Velvet Goldmine. I need to see that one again.

Cape Fear (remake)

im sorry but i cant understand some of the negativity surrounding the remake. I can't think of too many other films that can have someone so riveted throughout the film

Best movie ever...
Thank you.
I was scrolling through this thread hoping someone would mention it.

As with some of the reviews of Pulp Fiction, this movie is all about the dialogue. Except, here it is the absence of the spoken word. The dialogue here is in the eye-contact between the actors.
And Sergio Leone's extreme close-up of Charles Bronson's eyes at the end is pure brilliance.
