How about a thread on Brett Favre's performance last night against the Raiders... less than 24 hours after learning of his fater's death, to put up those kind of numbers... amazing. hollywood couldn't have made that up.

He was en fuego, with a little help from a Raiders secondary featuring white toast and melba toast at corner and wheat toast and rye toast at safety.
I mean how can 2 guys just watch Javon Walker haul in a bomb while standing beside him without even attempting to deflect the ball...twice!

when I see something like this, I try to figure out how I would react in the same situation. And I know I am not sure I would be able to do it.

His father was a football coach, right? I missed the game..saw it for about two minutes (see the score)...and I thought "holy crap"

Yet, I know that he probablt wanted to do this for his father.

Amazing.
