Interesting.

Here's what I know from your list:

She Wants Revenge
BRMC
The Listening
Editors
The Cinematics
Ghostland Observatory
The Killers
OK Go
Muse
Mute Math !!!
Rooney
The Kooks
Arctic Monkeys
Rock Kills Kid
Hard-Fi
Modest Mouse
Stereophonics
Jimmy Eat World
Jeremy Enigk
U2... who the fuck are they?
Raconteurs
Pete Yorn
QOTSA
Porcupine Tree
The Soundtrack of Our Lives

That may sound like a lot, but I haven't heard a good bunch of the songs that you included from them.

His music spans soooo much territory from pop to rock to My Bloody Valentine/Ride to 60s pop to new wave.
Oooh, sounds interesting then.

I seriously cannot believe how much Steven Wilson has released in the last twelve or so months:

- Bass Communion's Pacific Codex album
- Blackfield's Blackfield II album
- Blackfield's live album
- Porcupine Tree's Fear Of A Blank Planet album
- Porcupine Tree's Nil Recurring EP
- Porcupine Tree's We Lost The Skyline live album

All while conducting a North America/Europe tour with Blackfield and a world tour with Porcupine Tree that has had four legs, with a fifth to come down my way in a fortnight.

Oh, and he's remastered and expanded a couple of old Porcupine Tree albums too. HE DOESN'T SLEEP.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

k, i'm on track TWO of lance's and i hate it. these songs are seriously dragging. like, the first track is a whopping 4:13. felt like 6-7 minutes. second track is 7:53. feels like 15 minutes, no joke.

That was the first song I heard by them. I saw them a few years back. They opened for a band that the singer of my former band was in at the time. That's probably confusing as hell.

It'll make sense the third time I read it.
