Ok so I bought a bunch of new computer parts and built a new rig this weekend. My hard drive is a Seagate SATA drive and I am having no luck getting windows to start up.

In my BIOS settings I have my IDE primary master and slave drives set to none and my secodary master and slave are controling my CD and DVD rom's, those are plugged into the IDE2 slot.

My boot order is set to 1. CD:ROM 2. HDD and 3. disabled (I have tried a few orders though)

When I start loading windows I hit F6 to load the SATA drivers, hit S insert the drivers disk and time after time Windows can't find a hard drive.

Anyone have any ideas?

thanks
