If you ever look at the size tag inside the tongue, it lists the size of the shoe in both men and women's.

Reminds me. We used to have an antique smoking cabinet. It was like a small end table, with a front that opened downward. The inside was all lined in copper, because apparently that was good for tobacco or something. You'd store your stuff and pipes inside, and have your ashtray on top.

I'm not very familiar with Holmes, but I do know my House. You can read all about the similarities on Wikipedia, but here's what I know:

Holmes = "homes" = House.

Both men are brilliant and always need to know the answer. Both men always get an epiphany and figure it out.

Holmes relies on Dr. Watson.

House relies on Dr. Wilson.

Holmes frequently used morphine (an opiate painkiller.)

House frequently uses vicodin (an opiate painkiller.)

There are no such things as fictional characters. They just exist on another level of the Tower. In alternate worlds.
