OMG my family is a funky bunch of saints for letting me be in control of the TV last night
My mom didn't even complain at all about having to watch Bono.....once I told her who he was. Lol.
MOM: What're we watching? CHANNEL 17? Is there anything else?
MONA: NO.
MOM: Who is that?
MONA: Bono.
MOM: Bono....is that all?
MONA: Yes, just Bono.
MOM: Hm. What is he, like some kind of rock star?
MONA: Yes.
MOM: ...What's with his hair?
Lol and during the clips they showed from different concerts (OMG Running to Stand Still was STUNNING) my mom was like "Lookit his PANTS. They're.....SHINY" or "they look like bubble wrap!"

I had to watch what I said, since hubby was sitting right next to me. Hubby does not "GET" it about U2 or Bono - he is not a jealous kinda guy, but he just does not get my passion for the guys and the lyrics or music. My kid is just starting to really like U2, so at least two of us in this household have great taste in music - LOL!
