But i'm sort of convinced that he doesn't care anymore, so he's just gonna be watching everyone else's reactions to it. So maybe watch him get amused by how everyone is eating up the hype when he knows it's craptacular.
Eh, I don't trust Larry. The more excited about the album he is, the more it's likely to suck. If Adam looks genuinely enthused, we may be in for something good. I take him most seriously, especially if it's an interview just with him rather than with the rest of the band and Bono's there to egg everyone on. Bono's not worth listening to. He'll just blow some hot air about how the album is 50 minutes of the world's best music.

I really loved it when Steven Wilson was asked which Porcupine Tree album he preferred. Yes, he said the latest album, but then he took the time to be honest about it - that since it's the latest album, of course it's the album he's closest to and it's going to be his natural response, so he then went on to state that he's also still very proud of In Absentia. I appreciated that honesty, that he knows exactly how it sounds for an artist to say "oh yeah, latest album is the best!"

For the new album, if only we could gag Bono, and tell Edge and Adam to not be afraid to express their honest opinions. Larry can just be quiet like he usually is. Just sit there and look pretty, pls. That would be the best album barometer.

So, on the final draft, I'm 39%, not 35% like on the first draft. However, I do need to look up some laws as I may actually lose a point for #54, and I will lose #94 very soon - as soon as I can convince U-Wen and/or Ali to join me on a trip to Hiscock Road. Oh yeah, and I am on the verge of losing #83 too, despite the fact that out of all the Superthreaders, I'm the one person who started off with the most posts!

OK, so I don't lose a point for #54. I was 18 and Kate was 17, but the law where we were focuses solely on penetration rather than any other sexual activity, so I don't lose the point. Plus it permits any acts between 15-17 year olds with anybody less than four years older than them.

Some other places have much harsher laws, though, so had we been elsewhere, I may have lost the point. And I just thought of a last-minute revision: the question should be revised to account for those who were the underaged participant.

And now I suspect I'm losing the oversharing point all over again.

Bono should be forced to keep complete media silence. Nobody needs to hear his predictable hype. We KNOW what he'll say. It's getting boring. And I fear it's rubbing off on Edge, who's been more prone to cliches about being "lost in the music" lately ...

I'm not sure that question should even be kept at all because of the fact that it's different in many places...
But if we do, yeah, revise it to account for both parties.

All in fine Superthread tradition though.

I await the return of Vazza, our glorious master of oversharing.
