I think I'm going to make it up to Indy after seeing the Police in 7/14!

Perfect--I'm going to be in Northampton to see Wilco on 6/24, so I'll just stick around for a few days and catch Dylan at the same awesome little venue.

Yeah, that surprised me. No South at all either. I'm just lucky that I was already going to be near Indy the day before his show there anyway.

Ugh, why these hick venues instead of major cities, I don't want to drive out to Northampton...although then again I saw him last year and while Modern Times showed that he magically learned how to write a song again, but he's just not impressive live, he's never had a great voice but he sounds terrible now, but what's the word on pricing?

He did ballparks last summer, so it wouldn't shock me. I'm just glad that I'll finally get to hear Dylan outdoors. I've seen him four times in four different arenas, but I always seem to enjoy outdoor shows more.

The Hershey venue is adjacent to where the Police will be playing--near the amusement park there. The Northampton show is at a little outdoor theater in a big park. No livestock, no fried food served on sticks. I think we're safe for now

No word yet, I don't think. But since some pre-sales start Tuesday, my guess is they'll be up tomorrow on TM.

Go see him.. I saw him a couple of weeks ago in Brussels..
And it was easily the best concert I've seen of him.
He's playing guitar again!! and his voice was really good (well he ain't no pavarotti off course..)

And the songs from modern Times are great live.. especially Nettie Moore..

I might go see him. Saw Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint last year at the same venue during the Jazz Festival and it was ace

The Hersheypark event page is up on TM now, and it says ticket prices are $29.50-$59.50.

Tickets for Northampton are $70 and $85. Honestly, I'm pretty shocked by that price range, as I was expecting it to be more like $40 and $60. I've never paid that much to see Dylan. I don't think I can afford those prices, though since the venue is in a big park, I think I'll just plan a picnic in the park for that evening.

Tickets for Indy are $35 and $75. I was a little late for the pre-sale, so I think I'll wait for the general sale and see what comes up.

Is he playing guitar the whole show or just an encore?

My best friend is going to take me to the Northampton show as my graduation gift. He's not much of a fan, but he realizes he should still see him, and he wants to go with me since he knows I love Dylan.

No only the first 4 songs of the show. And those songs rocked.
You just saw that he enjoys himself a lot more then on the previous tours.

Got a single ticket for Indy this morning. Row Y---not too bad. I was lucky to get a real seat though, because after about a minute, all you could get were GA lawn seats.

I'm luckier than I thought. Turns out there are only 800 reserved seats at the Indy venue. All the rest of the tickets are on the lawn.

The presale for the show I'm going to is Tuesday morning. My friend will be at work, so I have to get the tickets. I'm sure there will be a very limited number of seats for that show, too, with lawn seating in the back, so I'm going to be ready to go right at 10 a.m.

I've been listening to Before the Flood in my car for the past few days  I loved when Dylan toured with the Band.

Any word yet on whether there will be an opening act? I've seen him with Natalie Merchant, Phil Lesh, and Lucinda Williams as openers, but last time he didn't have one.

I'm not paying $75 to see him when I have to drive out into hicksville, seeing him in Boston last year was enough.

Nope...hasn't been announced yet.

I got my tickets in the presale this morning. It's a small enough place that we decided to go with GA lawn seats. The presale started early, so all the best seats were gone by the time I logged on, and I didn't think a seat was worth $85 unless it was in the first few rows.

Wilco and Dylan in the same week--I'm a happy camper!

It looks suspiciously like a county fair tour.

Yeah, even an Albuquerque date was just added!

I haven't seen him in too long. I think I'll try to go.
