Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Two running diaries of playlists will do that.

But don't worry, you'll pass me overnight.

I'm sure it looks quite cool. Work firewall blocks youtube videos. Even embedded ones, apparently.

I love that you don't have to copy and paste the embedding code from the Youtube page - you just post the link in your post, and BLAMMO! Instant video.

And my computer's getting very old and slow and Firefox seems to stall for a few seconds to think about things every time an embedded video comes along.

I hope the novelty of posting videos for the hell of it wears off quick, though. I really loathe threads that devolve into nothing but posts of videos.

I ain't here to browse YouTube, you know?

I hope not. I'm just catching up on your running diaries too.

Traviud, if you're still around, you need to stop generalising my tastes wildly. Disliking the last five songs of London Calling =/= disliking all of London Calling. Disliking a lot of the Beatles' output =/= disliking sixties music. The Shadows are one of my favourite bands!
