Who's been there, lives there, knows anything about anything there?

I'm planning on going to catch a show (Matthew Mayfield, in case you're curious) and need to know, well, everything. Decent, cheap places to stay, places to see, eat and hang out. The whole nine yards, I guess.

I'll probably be making more than one trip, and flying in most times, but I'm going to turn one into a massive road trip, which I'm really looking forward to.
