And I'm in the minority I think when I say that I actually like The River more than Darkness...

Darkness is phenomenal, but a tad overrated.

Oh, definitely, but just the fact that The River is a double album puts it way ahead of Darkness for me.

More Bruce goodness

But The River as a double is incredible.

River but as much as I try to listen to the River ...it still doesn't do much with exception of the River and Point Blank the rest of the songs sound cheesy to me...
However probably my favorite Bruce album is the Wild, The Innocent and The E Street Shuffle

I'll probably end up having to see him alone - Bruce is a hard enough sell for anyone I'd even think about asking, but him solo, forget about it.

I just saw he announced his European tour, with US dates coming up shortly.

but other than that, I like certain songs off of the albums.

I have to admit that I wasn't that impressed with the song for a long time. Until I saw them play it in 2003. Then it all fell into place for me. I'm not saying it's now one of my favourites, but I do like the live versions now.
