I proposed to my girlfriend of two years the night before Thanksgiving and we are flying high.

I know this is a self-propagating post, but I am just so happy I just wanted to tell everyone....

Thank you all for the congratulations, it really means a lot to me. As much as I do not know you, I feel like I do...

I really do not want to get into specifics (that is between me and my Beyonce), but the proposal included:

--The old bait and switch
--A nice room at 60Thompson (for you NY'ers)
--A fake Birthday party at the hotel bar
--About 5 people on the hotel staff
--A ton of white flowers
--A large amount of candles
--Enough champagne to fill a pool
--Dinner at Balthazar (again, for you NY'ers)
--Friends late night at said hotel bar
--One stunning engagement ring.

let's just say we woke up the next day (Thanksgiving) and had absolutely no idea where we were.

It was well worth it...
