The Stone Roses - Breaking Into Heaven ("Second Coming" album version)

I really like that song, but I could completely do without the intro.

Here are some of my favorites (in order of length):

The Cure - 'Carnage Visors'
The Decemberists - 'The Tain'
Mogwai - 'Mogwai Fear Satan'
Opeth - 'Blackwater Park'
Explosions in the Sky - 'With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept'
Sigur Ros - 'Untitled 8'
Mogwai - 'Like Herod'
The Doors - 'The End'
The Cure - 'Watching Me Fall'
Sisters of Mercy - 'This Corosion'
Opeth - 'The Drapery Falls'
Television - 'Marquee Moon'
Mogwai - 'Christmas Steps'
Opeth - 'Ghost of Perdition'
The Fiery Furnaces - 'Quay Cur'
Sigur Ros - 'Vidrar vel til Loftarasa'
The Cure - 'The Promise'
Explosions in the Sky - 'The Only Moment We Were Alone'
Cursive - 'Staying Alive'
Sigur Ros - 'Svefn-G-Englar'
Explosions in the Sky - 'The Moon is Down'
Nightwish - 'Ghost Love Score'

There are a bunch that are just barely under the 10 min mark that I'll probably make a list of at a later date, as I think they are worthy of mentioning.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Iron Butterfly
If you're gonna be a one-hit wonder you might as well make that hit 15 minutes long.

Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding

anything by Godspeed You Black Emperor, their shortest song is 10'52''

also anything by Yndi Halda, well, they have just an EP with 3 songs but all of them are beautiful

all the songs from "Golevka" by The Evpatoria Report are also over 10 minutes and it's a magic record

ok, ok... almost everything post-rock

Glancing through my iTunes, the only songs that jump out at me are...

Faithless - "Salva Mea" (10:47)

various remixes of Motorcycle - "As the Rush Comes," which all clock in around or past 10 minutes, with the longest coming in at 11:25

Tiësto - "Forever Today" (11:59)

Long remixes

I'm agreeing with the Pink Floyd songs, the Stone Roses and Sonic Youth. And I'd like to add O'Malley's Bar by Nick Cave.

Lou Reed- Street Hassel
Suicide- Frankie Teardrop
Sigur Ros- Untitled 8, Milano, Untitled 7
Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros- Minstrel Boy

10 minutes is nothing. From the self-indulgent, drug-fueled 70's I give you a few songs that took up entire album sides.

Yes Tales From Topographic Oceans
A double album with one song on each side. 4 songs total

Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick
One album, one song. Economic.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer Tarkus
Side one is the Tarkus Suite

Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells (The Exorcist theme)
Side one Pt One, Side two Pt Two

Donna Summer Love to Love You Baby
Side one is the title song

Lou Reed Metal Machine Music
A double album with...well, actually NO songs.

Here's two more

Ikon by Utopia from Todd Rundgren's Utopia
Length: 30 minutes

Treatise On Cosmic Fire by Todd Rundgren from Initiation
Length: well let's just say it set the record for most music on one side of an album.

Man, I miss Prog rock.
