I am positive this one has been done before, buuuut anyway I am curious to know what you all think- I know that 'Thriller' was the quintessential video for its time back in the early 80s and that MTV pioneered the whole video/music genre, so what have been the really great vids- the ones that stand out to me are -

Smells like teen spirit- more so for what it captured and started and apparently it wasnt staged at all, they had a rough idea of what they wanted but what they got was completely un-scripted and raw. I would imagine that is pretty rare in the field of videos....

All I want is you- even though I am a huge U2 fan, I think this is a great clip, superb story and beautiful photography and a lovely song....

Hold Me (Fleetwood Mac)- heaps of mirrors in the desert and a lovely early 80s kind of vibe, very nice...

cant think of anymore at the moment

I love GnR's "November Rain"...it's a pity it gets shortened so often when it is ever aired.

I'm no Madonna fan, but I love her videos for "Rain" and "Frozen". Very artistic. The latter is also creepy, but lovely.
