Best Music News of the Year

Thought it would be about Radiohead, huh? Smiths reunion? Nah.

Bob Dylan's new album, "Modern Times" comes out August 28th (29th in the U.S.).

I'll be surprised if it's not a towering work of brilliance like his last two.

It's a good time to be alive. I feel privileged.

His last 2 records are very good.

I'm looking forward to this.

Bob for president

"It'll probably turn out in the end that the singing style of His Bobness is one big joke and that at home under the shower his voice is suddenly crystal clear. But it remains a mystery how a sound, sounding like a mixture of a scary goat and a ripping telephone book can be so beautiful."
*loosely translated quote by a Dutch journalist about a Dylan concert in 1998*
