Anyhow: Who writes the best lyrics?

Bono? Thom Yorke? The guy from Journey? Bret Michaels? Frank Black? WHO IS IT?

And Bob Dylan is probably high on the lyriscist list too. Springsteen maybe. Born to Run is damn near genius. Certainly some the best lyrics in rock music.

Dylan is probably the best ever. Lou Reed deserves a mention. As far as prominent artists since the 80's through today, I'd likely cast my vote for Morrissey.
