OK - so what does everyone think is the best Live performance to be found on YouTube - can be any band - what rocks your socks?

Every U2 fan should watch this performance

One of the most poignant U2 performances ever. Sola Sierra (the main woman who appear with Bono) died some years ago  and she never found the body of her missing husband, tortured and disappeared during Pinochet dictatorship

I remember crying during most of this song. U2 touched us in a very deep part of us as country, it's hard to explain how it feels when you attend to a Rock concert for having a good time and sing along with one of your favourite bands, and you leave the stadium without saying a word, with your look at the infinite and thinking and thinking ...

It is both shocking and embarrassing to me that in spite of some really kick-ass performances which have been posted, nobody has posted links to either the last-ever Sleater-Kinney performance (a drowned-by-tears rendition of the classic "One More Hour") or hands-down the best performance of any song, this year--Broken Social Scene's stunningly photographed Lollapalooza performance of "Anthems for a Seventeen-Year-Old Girl."

I'm not even going to post links, because I hope that when/if people go to look for these songs, they'll use all the links that come up as an excuse to get acquainted with some music so powerful that it'll just about kill you. Please go check out these songs!!! They put the rest of YouTube to shame!!!

It's got to be the Lollapalooza version of 'Anthems'. Awesome awesome awesome awesome.

I became the 459th guy in line to marry Emily Haines after watching that.

Thank you for listening. I wept, the first time I watched that video. I also wept the second and third times, but those're other stories, entirely.

Oh, how I miss my beloved Chicago...
