Rules: Vote for your LEAST favorite song. This poll will be open for 24 hours, at which point the song with the most votes will be eliminated from the competition and the next round will be started. This process will continue until only one song remains in the 'Please Please Me' draw, and we move on to the next LP. And so on and so forth.

In the event of a tie, the tied songs will be eliminated together, UNLESS it is a tie between the final two songs in any draw, in which case the voting time will be extended.

Once again, if any of you don't have access to this LP and would like to hear the songs you don't know, tell me in this thread and I will link you up via PM to a zip file containing the whole album.

Let's up the voting for people - the more participation, the better!

what the hell happened in the last round?

last second push for I'm Only Sleeping.

Tomorrow Never Knows is the winner for me.

The two best songs from Revolver are remaining, in my opinion.

I'll have to think about this one - I like both equally, although I'm tempted to go for Eleanor Rigby because I fear the final song from each album will be a Lennon one, and what fun would that be?

I think this round should have been Eleanor Rigby vs I'm Only Sleeping. Tomorrow Never Knows is awesome, but these two are better.

I'd pick Eleanor Rigby in either case. Otherworldly.

Tomorrow Never Knows, but Eleanor Rigby is a great, great song. The string arrangement is perfection, and the lyrics can make me cry if I'm in the right mood.

I'm really surprised it's ahead by such a big margin at this point.

Me too.

Tomorrow Never Knows is the band's most mind-blowing song.

Plus, Ringo's drumming is incredible on this track, so that has to count for something.

I also need to backtrack a bit, I really like Eleanor Rigby, it's definitely in the top 3 of Revolver. But Tomorrow Never Knows is hands-down one of the best Beatles songs period.

I'd say it's unpredictable, considering everyone who piped up early on seemed to think Tomorrow Never Knows would be the winner.

would and should are two different things.

:scream:

Stop voting for singles. I wonder if some of the people who voted for Eleanor Rigby have ever heard Tomorrow Never Knows.

(Yes, I will not stop pushing for this song...)

Don't... Tomorrow Never Knows deserves to win... I can't believe this, who are these people voting for Eleanor Rigby???

Where the hell are all you people's alters when we need them?

This always happens in Survivors. Everyone assumes the track that unevitably will win, and then it doesn't, because there are JUST enough people to vote for the other.

I'm so excited. I can compete next round.

Goodbye, Mr. Kite

Eleanor Rigby always depresses me and is so... serious.

i promise you, thom yorke listened to eleanor rigby and she's leaving home all his childhood

funny, btw., that two of the most depressing and serious beatles songs are mccartney songs, considering he's often accused of being cheesy and sappy on this forum. :hmm:

I know. I thought the people saying it WOULD win thought it SHOULD win as well.

I didn't even know about Tomorrow Never Knows until I bought Revolver, but I knew about Eleanor Rigby years before.

But when I heard Tomorrow Never Knows, I knew it was the better song in every sense of the word.
