Well, folks, the 'Beatles For Sale' Draw has concluded unexpectedly in its quarterfinal round, after No Reply, I'm A Loser, and Rock And Roll Music were eliminated in this draw's second consecutive three-way tie. This means that Eight Days A Week has advanced to the Final Draw, joining Twist And Shout, All My Loving, and A Hard Day's Night.

And with that, two consecutive three-way ties have sped up the process of arriving here, at the beginning of the 'Help!' draw.

Voting Results:

Rules: Vote for your LEAST favorite song. This poll will be open for 24 hours, at which point the song with the most votes will be eliminated from the competition and the next round will be started. This process will continue until only one song remains in the 'Please Please Me' draw, and we move on to the next LP. And so on and so forth.

In the event of a tie, the tied songs will be eliminated together, UNLESS it is a tie between the final two songs in any draw, in which case the voting time will be extended.

Once again, if any of you don't have access to this LP and would like to hear the songs you don't know, tell me in this thread and I will link you up via PM to a zip file containing the whole album.

Let's up the voting for people - the more participation, the better!

Dizzy Miss Lizzie.

One of the few Beatle songs I really, really HATE.

The guitar riff annoys me to no end. :yuck:

Somebody voted for You Like Me Too Much! I like that song! Musically that is... the lyrics are lame.

Act Naturally is Ringo's finest vocal moment, even if it is a cover.

Wow, you really think so? I don't know. "With A Little Help From My Friends", "Yellow Submarine", "Matchbox", and especially "Don't Pass Me By" are far superior...

...in my opinion, of course.

I'm too embarrassed to say that I forgot about "With a Little Help From My Friends," so I'll just stay up on my soap box and say, Yes! Act Naturally is better!

No, not really. I just think it's a really fun and clever song, a really good cover.

"Yellow Submarine" is a classic, but it's too droning and monotone of a vocal to count as Ringo's finest moment!
