In the event of a tie, the tied songs will be eliminated together, UNLESS it is a tie between the final two songs in any draw, in which case the voting time will be extended.

Once again, if any of you don't have access to this LP and would like to hear the songs you don't know, tell me in this thread and I will link you up via PM to a zip file containing the whole album.

Let's up the voting for people - the more participation, the better!

Agreed.

Don't know how people could not like Ticket To Ride over these other ones. It's the best song on the album.

Ticket to Ride is great, but I'm torn between that song, Help!, and Yesterday as my favorites.

Help! could be one of the finest pop songs of all-time.

The lack of appreciation for "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" around here disgusts me. It's a beautifully understated song.

I agree, I think it's the best song on Help!

I had missed this game (I should check Just the Bang and the Clatter more frequently), but it sounds interesting. Given all the talk on this board about wits sounding beatlesque, I wonder if it is compared to masterpieces like Tomorrow never knows and Strawberry fields, or something disposable like All you need is love. (No, I'm not a fan of wits, or All you need is love either. )

Given the great variety of the beatles songs I think the term beatlesque is a bit vague.

Sorry that I went off topic.

Sheesh. That's a bit harsh. I mean, it's going up against three number one songs. The fact that it is still around shows it is more than appreciated.

I actually voted for YGTHYLA. In comparison to the others that are left, that was the so-called "weakest".

There really are no weak songs at this stage in the game.
