Rest assured, Neon Bible is not the best album of the decade. Actually, I think I may still like Funeral more, BUT it does have many great qualities and strong tracks. It's anything but a disappointment, and it does a great job following up Funeral. I just don't find is as catchy, fun, or shocking as their debut.

According to that list, I've got the following to look forward to this year.

The Shins (even though I already own it since it just came out)
The Good The Bad and The Queen (ditto)
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Norah Jones
Explosions in the Sky
The Arcade Fire
Modest Mouse
Bright Eyes
Joseph Arthur
Coldplay (I'll believe it when I hear something official, until then I don't)
Britt Daniel solo
Gnarls Barkley
Iron & Wine
Okkervil River
Rilo Kiley
Sigur Ros
U2 (again, highly unlikely)
Chris Walla
Kanye West
and Wolf Parade

If I indeed have ALL of those albums to look forward to, 2007 will probably be the best year in music of my lifetime, for me at least.

Soundtrack of Our Lives' Behind the Music.

Second would be Origin Volume 1 by the same band.
I love 'em. A lot.

If they get an album out this year like they said they would, it'll probably be in the list too.

But for now my number three is Stadium Arcadium.
Love it with all my little buggy heart.
