Best Album of the 90's?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Let me play to your tastes:

The Bends
Midnite Vultures
Homogenic
Achtung Baby

Am I getting closer to the supposed "correct" answer?

You had your chance Buck-o. No hints.

I keed, I keed.

OK Computer is a perfectly acceptable answer.

...Just a wrong one.

Use Your Illusion I
Ten
OK Computer
(What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Automatic for the People
Achtung Baby
The Soft Bulletin
Siamese Dream
Blood Sugar Sex Magik

pick one.

:combust: Good stuff. I'm surprised you didn't place Clouds Taste Metallic over Soft Bulletin, however. :slant:

Of your little list here, Automatic for the People, OK Comp, AB and Soft Bulletin are all perfectly acceptable answers. Wrong, but acceptable.

I love all of these albums far too much to say which one I think is the best.

Achtung Baby
Ágætis Byrjun
Amused To Death
Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Judgement
OK Computer
Pop
The Bends
The Lonesome Crowded West
Zooropa

Is it wrong that I've never really heard anything by Sigur Ros, particularly this album? :uhoh: I've heard a great deal about it...

I find it sort of "meh". It's pretty.

Ágætis Byrjun is absolutely beautiful. If you want to check it out, it's probably better to download first. Sigur Rós are the kind of band that people either love or hate.

I love their videos videos. Just watch this until the end, it's perfect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi7G-3qBbrU

Priest = Aura
Ferment

Depending on the mood. Both from 1992 -- a good year.

nobody appreciates either

ghost of tom joad is especially forgotten/underrated imo
the title track alone is

i remember rage against the machine doing a horrible cover at one point

and nobody ever talks about Mule Variations

I just meant that those are very sophisticated, well-respected records. Hardly guilty pleasure material.
