Siamese Dream by the Smashing Pumpkins is clearly the best album of 1993, in my opinion.

Good god, how do you know/remember what albums came out in what year?

I can tell you that stuff for the Beatles, REM and U2, but are you looking at a list from somewhere?

That's the benefit of having your iTunes music library properly tagged! Stick it into ascending year format and bob's your uncle.

Don't mind me, I'm just horribly biased in favor of those artists and love them to pieces. Classic artists you're missing out out on:

Beatles (and essential early solo work from each member)
Zeppelin
Bob Dylan
Rolling Stones
David Bowie
Velvet Underground
Jimi Hendrix
Love
Kinks
The Who (yes, they were great even early on)
Cream
The Doors
Janis Joplin
The Byrds
The Band
Allman Brothers Band
Nick Drake
King Crimson
Neil Young
Sly And The Family Stone
Yes
Van Morrison
Marvin Gaye
Al Green
Randy Newman

And those are just artists who peaked/were improving between 1967 and 1972.

The Beatles can't afford their albums

Zeppelin never felt much for them, same for the Stones

Bob Dylan already own five of his albums and my dad owns the essential

The Who just haven't got around to buying any of their albums yet, same with Cream and the Doors. And never got around to ever think about listening to the others

Oh and if you like Cream did you ever hear of a band called B.B.M., it was Cream minus Clapton insert Gary Moore (my favourite guitarist of all time) they made an album in '95?

Was gonna say something about Davis but I was beaten to it

Judging by my list 1985-86, 1998 were the worst years for music because for the 85-86 I took albums where the songs were recorded in the 60s, and in 1998 I couldn't even get anything

as for all the albums I've listed, I can atleast say I've listened to it and enjoyed it thoroughly
