I'm writing, and I'm on somewhat of a roll, and yet... I came in here looking for distractions. I'm not a very diligent worker

Well, it started life as a short story, but it's getting longer and longer, and I think I'm gonna call it a novella. So far it's over 50 pages, and it's a long way from finished.

And I just came up with a really good comeback: "Wow, so can anyone be an asshole like that, or do you need a special license?"
